Ayngaran International's Villu is a racy, illogical entertainer that's all about the star, Vijay.
Though inspired by several Hollywood flicks, Sarvvam should have been a gripping emotional drama with well-placed action but for the second half that has lackluster performances and logic-less scenes. Plenty of Arya-worship also tends to be tedious.
It looks like Yuvan Shankar Raja, after a couple of not-so-memorable efforts, is on his way to finding his groove again. Sarvam manages to snag your attention, in a good way.
Credit goes to Vasantha Balan for coming up with this realistic Tamil movie without getting caught in cliched situations; for sticking a camera into reality and capturing a slice of life.

With two composers coming together for one album, the results are a bit mixed. Though most of the tunes are familiar and none take you to scintillating heights, they are pleasant, and worth a listen.
